John Marshall stayed hot, taking a pair of games from Winona in Big Nine Conference baseball.

The Rockets won the first game 9-2, the second 10-3.

Ryan Lakin go the pitching win in Game 1. He allowed six hits and no earned runs.

"Ryan pitched a good game without his best stuff today," JM coach Terry Heiderscheit said. "We hit the ball well and took advantage of everything they gave us."

Kaeleb Stangler had a double and three RBIs for JM.

In the second game, it was Janek Walker getting the pitching win. He worked six innings and struck out seven.

"Janek Walker pitched very well for us in his first start of the season," Heiderscheit said.

JM finished with 12 hits in the second game.
